This is what Jeff had to say about the local market, “The May Sold properties in Montrose 77006 indicate a stable, desirable, and balanced market. Single-family homes remain the premium product, townhomes provide the strongest transaction volume, and condos offer the most affordable entry point. Buyers have more leverage than they did several years ago, but properly priced, quality properties in Montrose still maintain strong appeal to buyers who are in the market.
The May data suggests that Kirby area 77098 remains a highly desirable, higher-end urban neighborhood market, particularly for single-family homes. Buyers are paying close to asking price, which indicates pricing power for sellers. Townhomes also show healthy demand with relatively quick absorption. High Rise condos are selling, but buyers are negotiating some discounts and sellers need to be patient.”
